The Project Pond

In his article about The Pond, Michael Lopp used the analogy of ripples in a pond to describe the way information travels through a group of people. People leaving The Pond to work remotely remove themselves from this system of information and are thus out of the information loop. Working on a project distributed across India and Holland, I encountered the same problem on a smaller scale: the Project Pond.
